Michelle Obama. She is a ‘Shakti Leader’ in every sense. Strong and feminine, real and intelligent. Carries her power gracefully.
What motivates you? Makes you happy?
Creating a world that works for all. Bringing India’s wisdom in service of the world.
What advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
You are on the right path, dear one! Don’t doubt yourself even if you seem to zig when most zag. Just DANCE. Your dance! Wild and happy.
And yes, don’t wait for Prince Charming. Be your own!
If you could make 1 global change – what would it be?
Eradicate poverty
What are your Top 3 achievements?
  1. Coauthoring the book ‘My Cancer Is Me’ outlining the integrative medicine program I developed and supported cancer patients with, including the Cellular Healing Meditation
  2. Coauthoring the book ‘Shakti Leadership’ outlining a model for Conscious Leadership that works for all genders, drawing from ancient and modern wisdom from East and West.
  3. Founding the Shakti Fellowship, a 9-month advanced leadership and entrepreneurship program for women, jointly certified with University of San Diego. Creating a global cohort of change makers who collaborate to create peace, prosperity and beauty through the exchange of multiple forms of capital.
What does sustainability mean for you?
A way of living and working where everybody matters and everyone wins. Physically, Psychologically, Spiritually evolving and thriving as a species in dynamic equilibrium with all systems we are a part of: economic-political, social-cultural, environmental-scientific.
What was the most important event/influence that changed your perspective?
An existential crisis at 32, in a successful corporate career. When I was left wondering about its meaning and purpose and whether I had made any REAL difference.

Finding YOGA went on to change everything.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
It is time to end the battle of the sexes and become fully Human. It is time to ‘Rise in Love Together’.
