I would take my time, walking to the dinner party. Knowing that just being fully aware and mindful of people walking by, I will find the right person to invite. Being always open for new people, places, thoughts and opportunities is one of the best ways to shift perspective. Learning something new every day. What we need is awareness and a step out of our comfort zone. What motivates you? Makes you happy? Meeting new people. Visiting new places. Doing new things. But also revisiting those I know, to see how they changed. Increasing my horizon. Solving challenges. For myself and with others. One small step at a time. Always knowing that the next challenge and opportunity is waiting after the next corner. What advice would you give your 10-year-old self? Most of the problems you will face in life will come from your own mind. You can solve them: Stop blaming outside forces you cannot control. Realise you are the cause of your problems. Adjust your thinking. Then start to create real changes. If you could make 1 global change – what would it be? Making people understand they cannot make global changes. But if they keep on changing themselves, they will change the world. What are your Top 3 achievements? Realising I am wrong – and so is everyone else Meeting my wife Having two amazing children What does sustainability mean for you? Stop asking the question ‘What (else) should we do?’ Instead ask ‘What should we STOP doing?’ What was the most important event/influence that changed your perspective? The moment I realised, there will never be just one thing that will change your perspective for ever Calling all Sideshifters!
