Marie: I don’t know, maybe someone who can´t afford it. Eva: Christer Lindarw, He is a Swedish dragartist and designer, because I love his designs and I would like to know how he feels about sustainability. What motivates you? Makes you happy? Marie: When I see changes and can be part of movements toward improvements. Hope! (And really bad jokes) Eva: The future, I'm optimistic. Nature and animals. Sustainability through amazing creations What advice would you give your 10-year-old self? Marie: Not so much advice as a thank you for taking your daydreams seriously. Eva: Be more aware of our planets fragility. If you could make 1 global change – what would it be? Marie: I honestly don’t know, changes within myself or my immediate surrounding is easier to comprehend and to be less defensive and more open is a change I would wish for in any circumstance. Eva: stop all new production of clothes and use what we already have. What are your Top 3 achievements? Marie: Naturally my two children and my one bonuschild are my three top achievements. Apart from them there are constant achievements due to perseverance and stubbornness and wonderful colleagues and I can´t really rank them. Eva: I learned to crochet, sashikoembroidery and being more patient. What does sustainability mean for you? Marie: No damage! Eva: The love of our planet. What was the most important event/influence that changed your perspective? Marie: I don’t think there is one, more a constant chain of events and my perspective hasn’t really ever dramatically changed more grown stronger. I´m influenced by the people I work with on a daily basis and everything that goes on around the world with people seeing possibilities and working towards a change. Eva: Marie’s stories and interests in sustainability have helped me change my perspective with regards to fast fashion. Is there anything else you would like to share with us? Eva: Remake is a workplace where I have always felt welcomed and important. It has made me believe in abilities I never knew I had. Calling all Sideshifters!
