If you could invite 1 person to a dinner party – who would it be and why?
Nelson Mandela. I would like to know how, when and why he SHIFTed in awareness from a desire for retribution to Tolstoy and Gandhi’s non-violence philosophy.
What motivates you? Makes you happy?
Being in the company of inspiring and inspired people, those with an expanded level of awareness. I am happy when people I interact with “get it” – that we are all one.
What advice would you give your 10-year-old self?
Relax. Good grades in school are not that important. Establish relationships. Experience more. Experiment more. Try out many things. Don’t be afraid not to be the best. Make mistakes. Learn through experience.
If you could make 1 global change – what would it be?
Homeownership would be an inalienable human right.
What are your Top 3 achievements?
(1) Overcoming the fear of uncertainty and lack in the pursuit of my desire for a better world. (2) Devising a solution to Africa’s liquidity crisis. (3) My family
What does sustainability mean for you?
A world where we are collectively aware of how to live in harmony with each other and the planet; systems and processes that reflect that awareness
What was the most important event/influence that changed your perspective?
Watching the movie “The Secret” in 2006.
Is there anything else you would like to share with us?
I believe in the capacity of people to change our perspective, to embrace new ways of being and doing, and to create a world that works for everyone. I believe we can live CONSCIOUSLY.
